I don't see what's wrong with the photograph. maybe a bit dark, but I don't know what the colour of the paper was like. don't beat yourself up. maybe you should let go of expecting perfect scans or photographs, too
Petra – I'm never happy with my photos, they never clearly and sharply capture those sketchbook pages but I'm starting to ignore that and not care any more, life's too short and there's so many sketches to share so I'm going to press ahead and stop feeling intimidated by my lack of photographing skills
Dearest sweet Veronika, love your sketch and this photo looks fine with me. I am still learning to let go of expectation and i still need small reminders of it like this. I only have one sketch book that i doodle with and it's so inspiring to know yours are filling up fast. Thank you so much for your sweet kind words, support and advise on my new job! It's so tiring indeed and i hopeit could only get better. Have a lovely meryr happy sunday and love to you!

It is important to focuss on the importance of out acting not on the details! Good work, i love this sketch and how you incorporated the aquarell!
